Conor “The Notorious” McGregor : The New Featherweight Champion

Tonight, McGregor picked the round and Mendes destiny was determined in the 2nd round. McGregor improved his UFC record to 6 wins and 0 losses (6-0-0). The Notorious started off the match with a banging spinning back heel kick to the midsection of Mendes. After, the match was back in forth with McGregor trash talking the whole match, which was great. Also, Conor was landing his kicks and punches and Mendes too, except Mendes landed punches and landed takedowns. McGregor was finally put on his back and got lucky on some of Mendes grappling moves. Conor doesn’t get put on his back as much and was good at staying calm and not letting Mendes take over the ground and pound or submissions. McGregor will look to improve on his ground defense for future opponents. Conor McGregor backed up his words and showed the whole world that he can eat a punch and fight off a top opponent. McGregor won on a result of a TKO on punches with his incredible left hand and used his 8 inch reach to a huge advantage. McGregor will look to fight Jose Aldo and hopefully beat him and then fight Frankie “The Answer” Edgar. Those are 2 potential blockbusters that could happen in the near future for the new champion. McGregor is here to stay and will be champion for a long time!
