Tigers Cleaning House

Today, the Tigers traded starter David Price and now they traded another player. This time closer Joakim Soria is heading to the Pirates and will set up for Mark Melancon. Soria has been nearly perfect all year. Soria has a 2.85 ERA with 36 Ks, 23 saves out of 26 attempts in 41 innings of work. He is also 3-1 on the year. The Tiger received shortstop/outfield prospect JaCoby Jones. Jones is at currently Double-A and has had a good season between Single-A and Double-A. He has only played in 3 games at Double-A. So, I’ll just give you the Single-A stats. He did hit .253 with 14 stolen bases and 10 homers with 58 RBIs. He has developed a lot and will continue to do so.
