The Reds got a slugger in Adam Duvall. Duvall plays 1st base and 3rd base, also some 2nd base. He might be able to play some corner outfield if needed. Duvall was up in the pros this season and hit .192 with 3 homers and 5 RBIs. In Triple-A he is killing the cover of the baseball by hitting 26 homers with 79 RBIs and hitting at a batting average of a .279. Duvall was the Giants number 25th prospect. Keury Mella was the Giants #1 overall prospect. Mella is only 21 years old. Mella currently pitches at advanced Single-A and will be called up to Double-A in 2 weeks. Mella this season has pitched in 81.2 innings with a 5-3 record while pitching to a 3.31 ERA and striking out 83 batters. Mella fastball reaches 93-95 mph and can hit 97 at times. His fastball can be utilized up in the zone or down. He has a power curve that gets slurvy at times. His changeup is really good too. His crossfire delivery is very deceiving and batters cannot pick it up as fast as a normal delivery. Mella will be pitching in the pros in 2-3 years.
