With the week one approaching, Noah Spence is a key player to watch for the Buccaneers, as he is expecting to contribute at a high level.
Now, he is a rookie, but he is looking like a guy who has already played a couple of seasons in the league. The Bucs used a second-round pick this year on the defensive force.
In addition, the young defensive end will most likely be a rotational guy this year, but he will get tons of snaps. He will be on a defensive line that can be a deadly force. The main defensive linemen include Gerald McCoy, Robert Ayers Jr, William Gholston, Jacquies Smith, Clinton McDonald, Howard Jones, and Akeem Spence. That’s a really deep line that can be the difference for the defense.
Finally, fans should expect Spence’s stats to land around 25 to 35 tackles with eight sacks, but if he starts off hot, he could reach ten sacks, as a rookie, which Tampa fans have not seen a ten sack guy since the glory days with Warren Sapp and Simeon Rice on the defensive line. Lastly, he will get tons of hits and quarterback pressures in his rookie season, due to a mix of his power and speed off the line.
