The Atlanta Falcons finally reach a verdict on the financial portion of the new contract for Devonta Freeman, as they have been talking about this new deal for mostly half of the off-season from the outsiders point of view.
In addition, the deal will be worth $41.25MM over the next five seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, per Michael Silver of NFL Network.
Also, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Freeman will receive $22MM in guarantees and he will also pick up $15MM in signing bonus money.
Furthermore, Devonta Freeman has produced some big numbers for the Falcons since being drafted back in 2014.
Lastly, the 25-year old FSU product has picked up two Pro Bowl nods, two back-to-back 11 rushing touchdown and 1,000+ rushing yard seasons.
